I'm not sure what he is contemplating but either way, I still love the photo, it was taken between his parents' apple orchard and pond/swamp. you can just barely make out their home through the trees, up on the ridge.
(On Monday morning, Kim, Michael and I went for a hike around Kim and Greg's property as well as onto some land which borders it - which is being turned into a rural development. This photo was taken on that hike.)
